Bethany Whymark – 8.7

Nose: A plump salinity like fresh mussels. Coriander and grated lemon peel, followed by gentle pine notes and a touch of florality.
Palate: A little more salinity at first, then fresh pine, crunchy coriander, lemon rind and a hint of pesto. Whispers of sweet pineapple and floral rosewater. There’s a great oiliness to the texture.
Finish: It fades on green herbal notes with a gentle and pleasing piney bitterness.
Comments: A nice viscosity and a lovely sweetness that counterbalanced its more savoury notes. A fine G&T candidate.

Phoebe Calver – 8.8

Nose: Fresh and bright green apple skins, some herbal heather honey and salinity, with a touch of liquorice.
Palate: More of the juicy green apple, peppery juniper, orange marmalade and a smooth hint of vanilla that seems to shine on through.
Finish: Lingering freshness, with a peppermint zing.
Comments: Loving the journey this takes you on and the complexity on show – big fan.
